We are excited to announce Round 2 of the SuperAIRE Early Career Researcher (ECR) Grant Call. This scheme supports early career researchers working at the intersection of AI and renewable energy to develop their ideas, build collaborations, and take the first steps towards larger research projects.
Key Details
- Funding available: up to £2,500 per applicant (80% FEC)
- Total budget: £15,000
- Who can apply: Early career researchers employed at EPSRC-eligible organisations (PhD or equivalent required)
- Decision timeframe: Within 6 weeks of submission
- Project End Date: project must complete by June 2026 (potential extension will be confirmed with successful applicants)
- Eligible activities: Small research projects, collaborations, internships/secondments, travel, or dissemination (equipment not eligible)
