The SuperAIRE 3rd Challenge Workshop will bring together stakeholders from academia, industry, policy and practice to explore and address critical challenges facing the UK’s transition to a net zero, resilient, and sustainable energy system, enabled by AI.

SuperAIRE Challenge Workshops are designed to create a collaborative, interdisciplinary space where evidence, experience, and systems thinking come together to identify priorities for high-impact research and innovation. This third workshop builds on insights from the first two SuperAIRE challenge workshops, and continues to shape the direction of future SuperAIRE activities.

Hosted at Saïd Business School, the workshop will support constructive dialogue across sectors, helping to bridge the gap between research, policy, and real-world delivery.

Workshop aims

The workshop will aim to:

Bring together diverse perspectives to explore a shared, systems-level challenge
Share emerging research, policy insights, and practical experience
Identify barriers, opportunities, and evidence gaps within the current energy system
Inform future SuperAIRE research priorities, activities and collaborations
Strengthen connections across the SuperAIRE community and beyond
