SuperAIRE is pleased to invite expressions of interest for membership in its inaugural Working Groups, which will guide and shape the strategic direction of our activities across AI and Renewable Energy.

About SuperAIRE

SuperAIRE (Supergen Network+ in Artificial Intelligence for Renewable Energy) is a new consortium within the EPSRC Supergen programme that was set up in 2001 to deliver sustained and coordinated research on SUstainable PowER GENeration and supply, focusing on key research areas. It commits to incubating a world-leading research community at the intersection of AI and renewable energy and to support the UK’s global leadership in the intelligent transformation of the renewable energy sector. SuperAIRE fosters collaboration between academia, industry, and policymakers to drive innovation across generation, storage, transmission, distribution, and demand-side management.

Through our six Research Themes: Robust and Trustworthy AI, Prediction and Forecasting, AI-Powered Digital Twins, Intelligent Control, Smart Integration, and Robotics & Autonomous Systems, we address fragmented research landscapes and accelerate AI deployment in real-world renewable energy systems.
